From idea to AI mock-up

Six steps, about two hours. Work in your Week 1 pair, with your two brands. AI is step five.

Fashion brand
Non-fashion brand

Step 1 · Brainstorm 15 min · no AI

Eight ideas in eight minutes. One rough sketch or line per box. Then circle the one that is a story fit, makeable and showable.

1. Something you wear
2. Something you carry
3. The packaging
4. A collectible
5. For the home
6. A digital item
7. An experience
8. Wild card

Step 2 · Story 15 min

Narrative Architecture for the idea you circled.

01 WorldThe shared setting the two brands live in.
02 TensionThe surprise that makes it interesting.
03 Why these twoOne line. Why the pairing is not random.
04 Drop mechanicWhich of the six, and who it serves first.
05 Reveal sequenceWho reveals, in what order, over how many days.
06 Proof metricWhat would show demand, not just attention.

Step 3 · Research 20 min

Find nine reference images. In each box write three plain words for that image: a colour, a material, a shape. Note the source.

Brand A: colourthree words + source
Brand A: material or texturethree words + source
Brand A: signature shapethree words + source
Brand B: colourthree words + source
Brand B: material or texturethree words + source
Brand B: signature shapethree words + source
Product: similar silhouettethree words + source
Product: finish or detailthree words + source
Product: packaging or displaythree words + source

Step 4 · Prompt 15 min

Fill the recipe in order. Then write it out as one line.

2Brand A code
3Brand B code

5Setting and light

Full prompt, one line. End with: no text, no logos.

Step 5 · AI speed mock-up 35 min

Change one thing per run. Log every version.

Step 6 · Select and share 20 min

Exit ticket. Which version best serves your story, and why? Which drop mechanic would you launch it with?
Module rule. Say which AI tool you used. Label every image as a concept mock-up, not a photo of a real product.
Evidence to collect if this launched. Before: profile visits and real questions. Reveal: saves, shares, and whether people understood it. Opening: clicks and orders. After: remakes, repeat visits, product feedback. A view is not a person and an impression is not a sale.
